This old stone pathway ploughs through a forest in the village. During the 19th century, the well-to-do citizens would leave the ancient church each sunday and flood along here to mix and gossip in the adjacent park and woodlands. This pathway was constructed especially for that purpose, and is obviously still maintained as part of this heritage site.
